The Right Photographer, Not Just A Photographer
A wildlife photographer and a product photographer are not interchangeable. One waits four hours in a hide for a bird to turn its head. The other spends four hours moving a light two centimetres at a time until a bottle stops reflecting the room.
Most studios answer every brief with the same camera and the same person. Empire Visual Studio works differently. We maintain working relationships with photographers across a wide range of disciplines, and we match your project to someone who actually shoots that thing — then handle the brief, the direction, and the finished delivery so you are dealing with one point of contact rather than a search.

Specialist and Creative
The genres that reward genuine expertise, and expose the lack of it immediately.

Why Work Through Us
- Matching is the value. We know which photographers are genuinely strong in which discipline, and we put your brief in front of the right one. That single decision affects the result more than equipment ever does.
- You get a directed shoot, not just a booking. We build the brief, agree the shot list, and hold the creative direction. The photographer arrives knowing exactly what the images have to achieve.
- Post-production is part of it. Retouching, colour, and consistency across a set are handled to the same standard as our video finishing. You receive finished images, not a folder of raw files.
- Everything stays connected. Stills, video, brand design, and event content can come from one coordinated project instead of four separate suppliers who never speak to each other.
How a Shoot Runs
- Brief. What the images are for, where they will be used, and the format and crop they need to survive.
- Matching. We identify the right photographer for the discipline, budget, and schedule.
- Planning. Shot list, location, styling, permits where required, and a run sheet.
- Shoot. Directed on the day, with review as we go rather than surprises afterwards.
- Delivery. Selected, retouched, and supplied in the sizes and formats you need.

Common Questions
Do you shoot everything yourselves?
We coordinate a network of specialist photographers and direct the work. That is deliberate — it means a cosplay shoot goes to someone who shoots cosplay, not to a generalist doing their first one
Can I choose the photographer?
Yes. We will propose who we think fits and explain why. If you have worked with someone before and want to keep using them, we can direct and finish around them.
Do you cover shoots outside Kuala Lumpur?
Yes, throughout Malaysia. Travel and accommodation are quoted separately where a location requires them.
Can we book photography and video together?
Yes, and it usually costs less and runs more smoothly than booking separately. Stills and video crews working to one brief avoid the usual problem of two teams competing for the same position at the same moment.
Who owns the images?
Usage is agreed in writing before the shoot. We will be explicit about what you can use, where, and for how long, so there are no surprises when a campaign extends..
